My 5 month old is having a mild rash in reaction to prunes baby food. What do I do? Can I give her benadryl? If it gets worse I'm calling her doctor

Maybe just some hydrocortisone would be enough, but call her doctor to check. And obviously hold off on giving her prunes for a while. You should start with something more bland like rice cereal. Or just wait until she’s a little older. There’s no reason she needs solids at 5 months.

@spookylyn, don’t tell me, tell Gerber to take it off the shelf. Both my kids had rice cereal and they survived.

I’d call her doctor/get her seen before giving any type of medication.

I’d call her doctor.

But also, she should not have solids until at least 6 months. It’s hard on their little bellies.
