Last night @1:30am my son had a febrile seizure lasted about 5-6 minutes.
This was the most scariest and surreal thing I've been thru seeing my son like that just breaks my heart something I would never forget. I cant even sleep anymore. Hes fine now and where home. 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Good to hear u are both home what is a febrile seizure i think my daughter gets those she just wakes up lays in the bed with her eyes open screaming and not moving for about 5 to 10 mins i pick her up blow in her face to wake her up then when she is awake she starts drinking breast milk
A febrile seizure is Convulsion in a child that may be caused by a spike in body temperature (fever).
My youngest has epilepsy so I can imagine how you felt Momma. Glad he is ok now!

@muvaoftwo, yep it was a febrile seizure I have never heard of that until my son had one I rushed him to the hospital because it's right down the road from me I never been so scared in my life. My son had the flu and his temp shot up to 104
wow that's crazy. But makes sense cause he was sick. My son had no symptoms but a fever. There gunna test him for epilepsy.
Definitely know how you feel been there with my son. Ibuprofen helps when you know he’s sick and is burning up. He got out of the seizures as soon as he turned 6. Wishing you and your son best of luck. Don’t blame yourself because I found myself doing that when it occurred. You’re doing just fine momma!
What's so scary was we was asleep and he was just fine as I was laying him down. Then he woke up screaming , burning up and started seizureing so unexpectedly. I do not ever wanna go thru that again!!
