It sucks being an army wife..especially when I am a veteran myself and know how everything works but I’m allowed to still be upset and no one is allowing me to be! My husband found out he is deploying for 9 months (November 2019-July 2020) we have two boys, live far away from family, andddd I’m pregnant with our third! He isn’t allowed to come home when the baby is born (which is March) the baby will be 5 months by the time he meets the baby...I’m by myself and just need a moment to not be okay with it knowing there is nothing I can do obviously! Everyone just keeps telling me you know what he signed up for you shouldn’t of married the military blah blah blah apparently you can’t have human emotions!

I’m sorry you are going through all of that. No matter what anyone says, there is nothing that can prepare you for a deployment, even if you “knew what he signed up for”. Just because you know what he signed up for doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck! And it doesn’t mean it’s not a lot to deal with. And it doesn’t mean you can’t sit up crying at night wishing your husband was home because you’re so overwhelmed, tired and stressed. It’s not easy. Mine left last Wednesday for 6 months. I’m not pregnant, but I was during the last deployment. It just flat sucks some times. I have done my fair share of crying. You don’t always have to be “okay” with it. Let your emotions and frustrations out. ❤️ I’m here if you ever need to vent or talk!

so jealous! If we would of got Kentucky, like Fort Knox, we would of been so much closer! I live in Ohio stationed ar Fort Stewart, GA

I love Fort Stewart! My husband was stationed there for almost 10 years I’m from GA, too.

we like it so far! Ton to do! Not liking the wives though they are kinda...something else plus seems like people have a need for drama and I’m not about that life lol

Why isn’t he allowed to come home? Back when my husband deployed, and I was on rear detachment. Men came back when their wife went into labor, unless it’s changed.
Btw I know the feeling, my husband is still serving. I’m prior service army, so I understand
