So, I need to increase my milk supply. My LO has been 50/50 formula and BM since the second or third week of his life, and after struggling with mom guilt over that (and still sometimes, but my body just wouldn’t produce enough for him 😔) I’ve come to accept that this is how our journey is going to go. He’s happy, healthy, and sleeping 11 hours straight at night 💃🏼💃🏼. However, I’ve been pumping more than nursing him lately, once in a while we’ll nurse, but honestly I feel better being able to see how much he’s consuming (that could be from the difficult first three weeks we had with him not gaining weight and seeing a LC every other day, I was so stressed) anywho, I’ve gotten very lax in my pumping. Lately I’ve only been pumping in the evening and morning and I try to get another session in in the afternoon. Normally I get anywhere between 8-12 ounces a day, if I’m lucky. And because of this he has been having more formula, which is fine! But with flu season coming up, I want him to have more from me to help his immune system.

So I guess my question is, has anyone been able to successfully increase their supply three months in? I’m going to get stricter with my pumping schedule and add in two or three more sessions

Eating oatmeal every morning really helped me with my second. I don't really have this issue with my newborn yet. But im strictly pumping/bottle feeding him since he was 4 weeks early and struggling to latch on.
