Honestly i had celulitous and i ended up in the hospital for 4 days. But mine started on my ankle and went up my leg. Do you feel dizzy? Or are you having the shakes with it? I was having both those symptoms. My brother is allergic to mosquitoes but he does not swell up that big.
so you guys recommend i go to the er instead or urgent care ??
@kclaireeabbey, and also, bugs mouths have a lot of bacteria so even a simple bite can turn into something very serious.
Girl don’t worry about not having insurance who cares about being billed would u rather die from something that could be severe because ur too worried about the cost of the bill or live .. id be in there as soon as I saw this on me 😂
This is not a bug bite. I wouldn't wait. If it is cellulitis it can quickly become life threatening. Waiting until you "have a chance" could be dangerous.

@kclaireeabbey, if it starts to spread (trace the border with a pen) , becomes painful I wouldn’t hesitate to be seen.

I would definitely get it checked out you want to make sure it’s not a recluse bite and that’s why it’s getting bigger. It could be an allergic reaction you just want to make sure though
Don’t worry about not having insurance right now. They will get a rep to help you start the medi-cal process after they get that under control. Please go get yourself looked at.
I’ve had to have emergency surgery at 1am without insurance. The nicest reps came to my bed the next day and got me all set up with insurance the day after. It’ll be okay, just go
Go in to the ER. Apply for medical if you need to. If it's gotten larger you need to be seen regardless of having insurance or not.

No, but seems you are allergic to something. Need an antihistamine or to get checked asap
I don't think that's a bug bite and if it is, it's a severe allergic reaction to whatever bit you.
what else could it be ? it was itching last night and then woke up to this. i have two of them. now it’s just a tingling sensation

just an update even tho i posted two weeks ago lol. but i took benadryl and it ended up going away !
