My doctor scheduled an appointment with a social worker does anyone know why?

Your doctor or your daughters doctor ? 
When I take my girls to their appointment, they always have the social worker come in but it’s just to see how you’re doing or if you need help with anything whether it’s help with child support, housing etc 
And they usually give them a book or two to take home and sometimes a toothbrush

@shaniiced unless something they fear they shouldnt call a social worker well atleast none of mine or my familys pregnancys never heard of it.. Just ask your obgyn why they have to tell you
