Any of you mamas know how i can make my breast milk increase after i gave birth cause with my first one i didn't have that much milk for him
Drink a shit ton of water and let baby stay on the boob as often and as long as they want
@mamalove563 personally to me it tastes like licorice. So I would not recommend if you dont like licorice. I had trouble producing and saw it but almost threw up when I took a drink.
My biggest word of encouragement is do your best to stick it out and don’t give up. Stay hydrated and eat well. The first few weeks are always super hard but then all of a sudden your nipples turn to steel and things get easier. Utilize a lactation consultant if you can!
Some people think that if the baby is nursing around the clock, they aren’t producing enough milk. It’s not always true. Baby dictates milk needs it’s incredible.
I did have a lactation consultant with my first one she was getting tired there was no milk come in out and when i try to pump nothing came too
Massage your boob while pumping/breastfeeding. Also try pumping/breastfeeding as soon as you feel that they are filling up. I do it every 2-2 1/2 hours. I do all this and get 4oz out of each boob. Your baby may not drink that much but you'll have a nice stash.
