Looking back at the photos my husband took during the birth and I see this one. Natural birth and I only shed 1 tear! This was the most painful birth too.
After experiencing the epidural with my first I told myself I never wanted to go through that again. My body didn’t do well with it. I don’t really have a technique I was just really stubborn on not getting the epidural lol. During the contractions I moaned and tried to keep my body as relaxed as I could. One good tip I do remember hearing was not to clench your fists. Because if you’re clenching your hands then your whole body will be tense and you’ll be working against the contractions. So I always remembered to do that. And I fell asleep between contractions to rest. Thankfully for me the pushing stage doesn’t last more than 5 minutes.
@anap1012, oh ok I did have the epidural at first but they didn’t give me the medicine so I went half natural wasn’t to bad he came out in a half a push so I’m praying I can go full
Blown I was told to listen to hipnobabies and relax and wait until contractions are closer than go to the hospital and congrats you a champ ! I can’t wait to deprived natural you gave me the strength to pull forward ! She’s beautiful btw
Thank you!! Don’t feel bad it’s actually pretty common to tear with your first baby. I only tore with my first but not too bad. This one was my biggest baby and surprisingly didn’t tear at all 😮
