— I'd call you landlord
— @bill_nye_the_russian_spy yeah that be a ton! Like taking jacuzzi baths daily
— @monkeysmommax2, that’s like running the bath for days while doing loads of laundry while running the dishwasher
— @bill_nye_the_russian_spy right!
— That doesn’t sound right. How they given you an explanation of why?
— No they haven’t they just said it’s this months water bill
— @bill_nye_the_russian_spy, that’s just crazy! I see your above comment, there is no way laundry would double your water bill she’s insane
— @michellemybell09, yup we aren’t doing anything different she must think I’m stupid
— Ask them to check for leaks or something? That’s crazy
— Hope they get it sorted out soon!
— I don’t think their willing to even if they find s leak because rent is due today
— @bill_nye_the_russian_spy, I'm sorry, that sucks. 🙁 if it's a leak you shouldn't be charged for that though.
— @scream.queen, I agree our rents expensive enough
— Sounds like a leak. Happened to us once. Unfortunately you’ll still have to pay the bill. But at least you won’t have to pay the repairs, cause that can be $$$. Cost us $8k to repair cause it was water main leaking
— Our toilet runs after it’s rushed could that do it
— @bill_nye_the_russian_spy, you would just have to pay the water bill. I own, so I had to pay repairs. If the toilet was running 24/7, it could, especially if it’s an older toilet
— @lizibear84, it does we have to mess with the handle that should be on them I feel like because it’s a mistake that’s crazy that they would make us pay for it even if it proves to be a leak
— Mines done that. Turned out my bathroom toilet had a problem with running and i didn't realize it. That is low bill though if its around 70 lol. Id call so they can break it down for you.
— It was the toilet they fixed it
— My electric is 300+ be grateful lol
— Yeah that’s not my electric sweetheart that’s my water my electric is about the same
— Apartment or house? My old apartment complex everyone split the water bill for the entire complex. It was a bit odd I thought. We live in a house now and it’s usually $25 or and one month it was randomly over $100. We still had to pay it, but I couldn’t figure out what happened and there wasn’t any leaks. I think it was maybe an error.
— Apartment and that’s not how this place works lol
