You buy the Apple TV and it comes with apps but you have to pay monthly subscription for whatever apps you want to use, some are free tho. I have a few included with my cable package but I pay monthly for all the good streaming services. HBO now, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

I like it. I’ve had Roku and the Fire Stick. I definitely like Apple TV and Fire Stick better than Roku

You just buy it but if you wanna use Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video/etc. you have to have subscriptions
