Having a very rough day today. My soon to be 2 year old son favorite word is NO. Everything I tell him to do. And on top of it all he throws a tantrum for everything. I am ready to throw in the towel.

I have spanked him. Put him in time out. I have spoken to him. I have tried everything. He listens to everyone except me. It's embarrassing & saddens me cause I am the only one that does everything for that child.
It because he's know your his mom and he care will get the love and care from you know matter what his behavior is. This is normal behavior; he's still learning the world and how it works pushing boundaries is how he learns. He's not even two be patient.
My daughter went through the NO phase very briefly. When she started we just sat her down and told her that she doesn't tell us no we the parent and she is the child and there will be consequences. It only took a couple of times for her to catch on and within about a week the no phase was gone!!!
Or she tells me no I jus put her in time out n I tell her u can come out of ur room when ur ready to listen to me
