I had the paragard for almost a year and was hemorrhaging every month to the point where I was severely anemic. When I almost passed out one month is when I switched to a hormonal one. But it was too small for me and fell out and I had my youngest 9 months later, lol

My aunt is a ultrasound technician at a huge hospital in Salem OR and she says she sees more women come in with the non hormonal iud than she has seen someone with a hormonal iud. She says she sees about 3/4 women a week pregnant with a non hormonal iud and has yet to scan someone with an hormonal iud

Paragard is the copper one correct? If it is, I’ve heard and seen a lot of women say they had a heavy period on it.. and I’ve seen a few say it was perfect for them
