Christmas will be different for them this year. We usually do Christmas Eve at her dads family house and it’s a huge thing they stay up til mid night and then Santa comes and passes out gifts. This year his whole family will be gone for a wedding so it’s her first Christmas at home. I told her we can do some new fun things this year and el on a shelf is what she picked

We do it! My son loves it! There are movies that go along with it that are actually quite darling. They focus on kindness to others as a way to create Christmas magic. That’s a good message in my book 👍 We don’t do anything crazy with our elf, he just moves position nightly.
My daughters class had one last year I think that’s why she wants one now. I didn’t know much about it other then the no touching part. Told her I’d ask around and look into it and I’d let her know. But I like the message I’m always lookin for more was to go teach my kids about kindness.
