Ditch the pullups altogether and switch to undies! BEST thing we did! Do they have their own potties? Like little ones? Mine was afraid to sit on the regular potty at first too.
Also maybe they donβt want to because they see the babies wearing diapers. My son was interested in potty training before he was 2 and enjoyed sitting on his potty but once I had my daughter he lost all interest in potty training because he saw the baby in diapers.
Yes they want to then they dont. Even when i was pregnant they still didnt want to but i already told them they have to my 3yr old will be goinf to school next yr and so will my 2yr old and i need them potty trained
What worked for my son was just leaving him naked lol or in his underwear. If he had a pull up on he thought it was okay to go in it instead of the toilet.
@3plus2is5 Take them to the bathroom every hour. Even if they cry. Every hour no matter what. Watch them for signs they are about to pee or poop and get them on the toilet.
@3plus2is5 You got this. It'll suck at first but I swear it works. You just have to keep being consistent and try not to get frustrated. There will be several accidents but once they see they dont have tge diaper to catch it and its not coming back they get it.
We tried for 4 mos with pull ups. Got rid of the pull ups and he was good!
Stop putting them in diapers and pull ups. It's confusing for them. Take them to the potty every two hours. Be prepared to clean.up a few accisents.
Once they have a couple accidents they catch on quick.
Pay attention to potty cues and take them to the bathroom. Once we completely got rid of diapers my 4yr old was fully trained in a week. Don't put them back in diapers.
@3plus2is5 You gotta be persistent. You are the boss. Not them. They aren't going to stop peeing in a diaper or pull up. They've done that since birth. You have to take away that crutch.
