I personally would have been fine with it from day 1. But he’s pretty afraid of newborns 😆😆. He never took any of them out without me until around 6 months.

He didn’t take the youngest until he was like 6 months old and he still very very rarely will he ever take him, only cause he’s nursing

As soon as he felt comfortable. We parent equally...it’s just as much his child as it is mine & he’s extremely hands on in our kids’ lives so I’ve never had any concerns with him doing things alone with our kids.
I’m pretty sure my oldest wasn’t even a week old & he took him to his peds appt for me so I could get a nap in at home.

We do the same and honestly everything else I've been so good about making sure he feels equal. I just keep imagining so many scenarios in which I would need to be there. 😂 I know he'll do excellent. I'm just so worried.

the more he does it, the more comfortable he’ll get. It just like you felt the first few times you went out by yourself with your babe. They’ve got to experience that too to get comfortable as well. I bet he’ll surprise you & you’ll be thinking of all those naps & showers you could of gotten in these that’s few weeks had you let him take her out. Lol

I was a newborn nanny for a long time so I was extremely confident. I think it's more me feeding off of his anxiety. He really is an amazing dad. He might go through 6 outfits but i know he'll pull it off. I'm more anxious for him than I'm worried about her. Does that make sense even 🤦🏻♀️

My husband had to take our son for an ultrasound when he was around 3 weeks old because my daughter and I had a stomach virus and couldn’t leave the house. He did great, lol.

@sourpatchkid @bunsinmyoven I've left her with him at home and stuff but he's genuinely offended I won't let him take her anywhere alone yet. 😂 He can barely handle a blowout at home. Imagine in the car.

My hubs was offended to. I just wasn’t ready lol. But if he wanted to leave somewhere with her I would’ve been maybe more comfortable with it because he doesn’t go anywhere but family’s houses and everyone has kids.

@bunsinmyoven @sourpatchkid I feel excellent! She's honestly been the best baby and like I said, I know in my heart they'll be fine. Just imagining his struggle gives me anxiety 😂😂
