We tried the weaning and mixing but it was a waste. After some frustration I took the bottle and gave him milk and tried abunch of different cups and sippys. He went for the 360 cup and loved it thank god and loves him some milk. Lol Took a day and a half to take to both changes.
With my daughter when it came to switching her from formula to milk that's when I decided to get her off the bottle altogether I would give her a 4oz bottle 3 oz of Formula 1 oz of milk for a week then the next week half formula half milk, 2 ounces each and so on till it was all just milk. Then I would only give her 3 oz of milk in the bottle for a week then 2 oz then one then none then I just handed her sippy cup and she was fine. I did it that way just to check for any allergies or sensitivities to milk instead of going from all formula to all milk at once which could cause a bad reaction if there's any sensitivities/allergies to dairy products. When it came to getting her off the bottle I would just put her to bed the same way a 4-ounce bottle for a couple days then 3 ounces for a couple days and so on until there was nothing left. There were a few nights where we caved and we give her a bottle but eventually she would fall asleep without it
The best sippy cup. Trust my little boy couldn’t let go of his bottle but this right here tricked him. And idk if you use rice cereal or multigrain cereal if so mix some of it in the regular milk and worm up for 45 seconds it works trust me my son loves his formula but we had to trick him.

Don't give them a choice... Literally just take it from them... I did it with my daughter at 11 months and it literally took one day

I also just threw away the bottles and started giving them whole milk in a sippy cup.
