Need advice asap!! Just had my membrane sweep at 39 weeks I was 1 cm and 60% effaced now I started having period like cramps and now there frequent contractions and lost my mucus plug with blood dose this mean labor? I had an iduction last time so all of this is new 😩😩

Usually that means early labor. Try and follow the 5-1-1 rule unless your water breaks or you feel like you need to go in for any reason! You want you contractions to be 5 minutes apart, 1 minute long and lasting for at least 1 hour unless your water breaks or you have a concern! Don't be afraid to go in if you're nervous. Better to be safe than sorry.

I wouldn't go in yet until they're steadily 5 minutes apart or under for at least an hour and the duration of your contractions are at least a minute long. They essentially told me to come in when I'm ready for my epidural. I just don't want you to be discouraged if they send you home! But seriously do what makes you feel comfortable. You can always call L&D or your OB and just ask if you feel like you should go in. You know your body best momma.
