I did this a few times with my oldest. My damn mom bought him a helmet as a joke. My youngest o paid more attention but still hit his legs or ankles on the wall every now and then

No but I've got my son's ankle bone one time and the poor thing woke up in pain like when you hit your funny bone I felt so bad!!
