That’s your business. I don’t really have a say if it’s right or wrong. But your sons father doesn’t have the right either. He gonna have a temper tantrum that’s not your problem.
I wouldn’t unless it’s serious. Kids don’t need to be around anyone your just dating.....that’s my opinion though.
Unless there is a court order he has no say. That said, how long do you wait? If you just started dating him I'd wait at least six months.

If you guys are in a serious relationship I don’t see why not. But if it’s a fairly new relationship I would suggest personally hold off for a bit until you guys are official then again it’s completely up to you hun
If it’s just someone you’re “talking” to then I wouldn’t. But a serious stable committed relationship than you have every right to have your son around him
In situations like this it's best to not bring anyone new around your son. Otherwise there will be a revolving door full of random women from his side and random men from your side. Wait until you are in a good stable relationship with him first.
