I hardly know anything lol. My mom is rh negative so I always figured like oh, I’m fine. Got it from my momma! Haha. What’s the reason for the shot & stuff ?

But no it doesn’t necessary make you high risk it’s just what makes us different. I was high risk with my daughter because of her kidneys not because of my blood type. This pregnancy I’ve never been considered high risk. But I will say at 20 weeks I started passing blood clots and had to have a early emergency dose of rhogam, my daughter is RH- so I didn’t have to have to have the shot you get after birth because that’s only if your baby turns out not to be RH- . So they’re thinking that I started clotting because my son has my husband’s blood type. I guess we are about to find out. 🤷♀️

I have A- neg blood it’s rare out of my 3 son’s only my last son has it and I have 2 older sisters I am the only who had it beside my dad, Any time a woman with this rare blood gets pregnant we need a shot or the pregnancy can kill us only 10percent of people thru out world have it , so late in 27/28wks u need a shot and after you deliver as well if the baby doesn’t have your blood type, so we don’t go into shock, yrs ago they gave the shot right away when you first find out your pregnant now it’s later in pregnancy
