Any mom ever had a baby with thrush ?

About a month ago I had to stop breastfeeding due to not being able to produce much.

My supply continued to decrease.

I recently noticed my baby girl had her first diaper rash this past week and it seemed like it just wouldn’t go all the way away. She’s never had one since she’s been born! this morning I noticed she had what looked like milk under her top lip and tongue. I’ve tried wiping it away and that helped but when i took my flashlight to examine it was specs of white or white dots on the back like where you swallow. I’m instantly freaked out!

I googled and it seems to be all the symptoms but I thought only newborns got that? I clean her bottles and disinfect them often so I’m lost

It sounds like she may have a yeast infection/ Candidiasis (in the mouth it's called thrush) and yeast for the diaper rash part. Has she been on antibiotics? Antibiotics kill the good bacteria in her body. Use an antifungal diaper rash cream on her and talk to the Dr about a good probiotic for her. I've heard Evivo is a good one for babies. Also the Dr can prescribe an antifungal oral medication. Good luck, thrush is NO FUN.

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

my mom died this morning. She lived with me. this morning she woke up and went to the bathroom. i was on zoom and i heard a bang. she died in the bathroom. i wasn’t able to open the door or help her. she’s had health issues but this was unexpected. my kids were at home, i had someone come get them. i had to stay in the house with her body until the funeral home came to get her. idk how to tell my kids. they loved her sooooo much. i don’t know how to be at home. i’m just so lost. she was all i had. my dad died when i was 12. idk i just wanted to vent.
