My biggest pet peeve is when people don't strap their kid into the carseat correctly and you can't tell them it's unsafe without them getting pissy. Or you tell them and they choose to ignore you...
I saw this here recently. Someone had their 9 month old baby forward facing because "she can". People can be so hard headed. I don't know how you can have so much pride you compromise your child's safety.
If I strapped my baby in wrong I would seriously want someone to say something. Better safe than sorry. 😩 Like seriously thank anyone for speaking up!
I have a friend that I REFUSE to strap in her kids because the straps are all loose, twisted, and she puts her kids in with overly poofy clothes. It drives me nuts. I've corrected her and even fixed her carseats and they were back to how they were next time I saw her...
@2prince1princess hopefully she doesn't have to learn the hard way. 🙁
I would prefer someone tell me even if I felt upset or embarrassed at least my son would be safe from that point on.
Yes. Or I'll just send pictures of the correct way and send a number of a local fire department that can show them. If they still get pissy then send a video of what could happen if they are in incorrectly and get in an accident. After that there isn't much to do. 🤷♀️ At least this way they can't say "that's your choice" or "that's your opinion"
The WORST excuse is "well I was never in a carseat and I lived" or "my teenager never got hurt so I'm doing it my way" like no. That's not how it works. You got lucky.
This just makes them a shitty parent. Point blank.
Safety isn't a parenting choice or a difference in parenting. If you refuse to pull your head out of your ass then 🤷🏽♀️ I said what I said.
Yea that gets me too. Why wouldn’t u put your pride aside to keep your babies safe? Never ever understood that reasoning. It’s sad
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

There was a girl I had seen on fb that had her son in his booster seat with his football shoulder pads on.. wasn't hooked in at all. what?? I just don't get it, whether your child throws a fit or not.. YOU'RE the parent, put the child in the seat the right way!!
