So I turned in the packet for autumn to be registered for school then yesterday I over slept, so she was late, then I go to drop her off in the office and they say they are still missing a paper and without it autumn can't go to class.. I was already having a bad morning so I broke down crying in the school office and asked them if I went straight over to the admin building and sign the paper would they please just let autumn go to class. They said OK so she went to class yesterday. but when I went to pick her up(you drive through a line and the kids are all in a gym and get brought out one at a time by a teacher to your car) and I went to get autumn yesterday and her teacher said going through the whole pick up process is too stressful and overwhelming for her. So for now on I have to park by her classroom and wait by the stairs and they'll bring her straight out to me from class before they go to the gym. Today I was waiting by the stairs and I hear this god awful scream come from the school and I listened to it for a second and was like yup that's my kid.. So I wait and the assistant teacher walks out holding autumn by the hand and she's fighting her and screaming and crying. I said Hi autumn, its mommy and she didn't look at me really because I had sunglasses on so I took them off and she saw it was me and ran to me and was fine. I asked what upset her and the teacher said the transition. They told her it was time to get ready and go home and she couldn't handle it. But once we were headed to the car she was fine and has been since. its still a learning process for her and I and she will have to get used to it still.
One day at A time.
