I would still at home demonstrate gentle touches. And tell him that we gentle touch and rub his arm, hug him, give a kiss. I would not discipline him at home for something he does in daycare because he won’t correlate why he is being punished. You have to correct them right then or not at all at such a young age. Does he hit and bite at home or just in daycare? Maybe someone is doing something first for his reaction.
Also, at his age they can’t communicate feelings. He can be excited, happy, angry, mad but he shows these actions to express himself. It’s pretty normal for his age.
