Do you have ppl, I see your from Berwick, if you do go to the Salvation Army and they will be able to help, you need proof you have no job and proof of all the people living with you.
First thing you do is call Your electric company if you have a final notice and ask for extension even if it’s a few extra days you take those days and go to electric help places in your city
@meggcragle, he doesn’t help? Or my comment? I was going to say, if he works, could you get an opposite shift job? Or if he doesn’t, can he watch the baby? Also, the other commenter gave a lot of good advice. Go down to your local human services office, they WILL be able to help you. Especially with your gas/electric. Does anyone in the home have a medical condition (ANY medical condition) because you can request a medical emergency form, that pushes back the shut off date 3 weeks. There’s resources, you just gotta get out there and look. Phones calls will only do so much.
Check your cities help line number they have places /organization s that help you pay electric for final notice once u provide proof of your hardship and or rent assistance usually a 1 time help for those in need ,Wishing you better days ahead, Some places help you with job assistance and daycare as long as you do your part ,and by what you posted In other posts seems like you’ve been a single mother already if your man isn’t helping or covering bills with you he takes up space and drains energy, good luck to you and your little boy ,don’t let anyone belittle you or talk down to you especially if they aren’t making you and your son #1 priority to get bills paid so your not homeless as a family
