I am trying to figure out if should go to L&D...... I am 34+2. I have been having contractions off and on for the past few days, they've gotten more intense over time, today I started having them also in my back. I am dilated to a 4. My water hasn't broke yet. Baby feels like she has definitely moved down more. (Sorry if tmi) but I've had to #2 alot the past couple days (I read that could be ur body cleansing itself before labor).

I just don't want to go and spend hours there and it be for nothing because I have another child at home. But also scared if don't go, then something could be going on.

Advice please anyone.......

I’d go in. At 35 weeks I was 4 cm dilated. No contractions just back pain and loose bowel movements. They told me if I felt any type of pain to go in, so I did because my back was hurting but not too much and sure enough I was contracting and dilating more within a couple of hours them monitoring me. They told me it was a good thing I went in because I had partial placental abruption. I would personally go in just to be safe.

@crystalbarnes115, yeah, hopefully you’re not dilating anymore. But good luck and I hope baby stays in longer!

My back ones are about 4-6 minutes, and the ones in my stomach are about 7-10(longest time fee they've been)
