We couldn't remember the last time we went on a date so we called our niece Lily and asked if she could babysit, I put on real makeup, changed out of my paint T-shirt, dusted off the curling iron and hunted for my perfume that I still have from college 😂 Thad ended up working late and we didn't leave until 7 and starving, ate 2 orders of chips and salsa and stuffed ourselves before we even got our meal. We had planned on going to High Falls to walk the bridge after supper but because we're old now we were falling asleep by 8:30 and allllmost went home. But instead decided we'd go anyways and let Lily put the kids down for us so we didn't have to for once 😂 It ended up being a great night despite us being old and tired, and we decided to prioritize a date night to at least once a month like we used to. How do you make date nights work?
