So my fiance worked as a paraprofessional last year for a school district. Their contracts weren't finalized for the 2018-19 school year until a few weeks ago. (so he was working at the wages for 2017-18 year, with the assurance of retroactive pay when the contract was finished) We'll, he ended up resigning and the end of the year to take a position in a different school district.

Now that the contract is finalized they sent an email saying "all returning employees will....blah blah" So he emailed the union representative asking if he will get his back pay since he's not returning and he got a one word response "No." Nothing else.

Pretty irritated about that 🙄
