Alright, I’ve had a frustrating day. So I’ve been trying to get things together to go to Texas (14hours away) to have my baby, and this morning shit totally hit the fan. (Sorry about my language choice) Anyways, my Chief and Master Chief told me I couldn’t. But me being me, I called them and asked why and how I could get around all of this. They told me they called my doctor and said that what I’m telling them and what my doctor is telling them aren’t lining up?! Like I’m lying to them?! I’m on “bedrest” but it’s not like super strict bedrest. They have me able to get up and move around, the doctor just doesn’t want me over doing it by working. Well I tried explaining that to my Chiefs and and they said it was unheard of to let someone travel while on bedrest...? Umm first off I told him it wasn’t a normal bedrest I can actually move and do more things than most in bedrest. And secondly I’m taking a car down there... My husband is driving and we are stopping every two hours and have hospitals planned out along the way if anything were happen.
Yikes! I’m also originally from Texas and now live in NC 14 hours away as well. I couldn’t imagine driving that far while I’m this pregnant lol Why are you going all the way to Texas to have the baby? Just bc it’s home? I wish I could have mine back in Texas too! Lol
Well because I’m 19 and my husband really doesn’t know how to help me and all I want is my moms. I’m really emotional, plus I’ve had a lot of complications so far and I want them there just in case anything were to happen.
@sloan.natalie.ann, i understand completely, my fiancé started truck driving right before our first was born, he had just gotten out of the army and was gone two weeks at a time driving so I moved back in with my parents for a year and he was home every two weeks and it was definitely helpful having my family cause I had no idea what I was doing. Lol
