I have hyperemesis really bad & ppl keeps pressuring me telling me to get a job saying that it will keep my mind off of it but I barley can stand for 30 minutes without feeling like I have to vomit & I feel like the more I try to explain my condition to ppl they still don’t get it
You should talk to your doctor about this hun. HG is really rough! To answer your question, I left work to go to the hospital with contractions and delivered the next day 😬
With my first I worked until I had my son. He was a month early and I told my boss "hey I can't come to work on Friday because I have to have my baby that day." 🤣
With my daughter I worked up until the day I turned 38 weeks and I’m doing the same this time, I don’t see a reason not to unless I medically could not.
@thawkins, well everyone handle things different & everyone body is different but that’s good for you glad you were able to get through it & work .
@yelle, Exactly. I lost 35 pounds before I was able to start gaining weight and with four weeks to go I am still under my pre-pregnancy weight. I’m thankful I worked through it, now if this would have been my first pregnancy when I was still working 45 hours a week the situation may have been different! Lol. But it’s your choice if you want to work or not, if you have the financial means to not have to then more power to you girl that’s a blessing forsure! Don’t let anyone make you feel bad, growing a human is the hardest thing ever.
Me I’m still working til I go in the hospital on September 9
