So my husband and I wanna get a jump start of her first b-day plans if y’all have any ideas for a January baby’s first b-day please let me know I have no clue where to begin
We did a winter ONEderland theme for my December baby (Party in January). We got a lot of the decorations and such on sale after Christmas. I stuck to snowflakes and snowmen though so it didn’t look like a Christmas party. Between my husband, mom, and mother in law, we bought/prepared all the food.
On the menu: Hot cocoa/coffee bar, baked potato bar with all the toppings (broccoli, cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon, chili, corn chips), roast beef, and a veggie tray made to look like a snowman (cauliflower and dip for the body, baby carrot noses, black olives for eyes, mouth, and buttons, pretzel sticks for arms). For dessert, cupcakes and pizzelles sprinkled with powdered sugar. We had a cookie decorating station for all the kids (and adults) and treat bags had all the ingredients to make hot cocoa and s’mores at home.
Depends on what are you trying to do
Big party little gathering at a house or at party place
How many people budget if you go with a party place they mostly provide everything except cake for most places
If you do something at your house just keep in mind everything you have to buy can get very expensive if you go big
we are thinking 25-35 people
Definitely want to do a theme
Budget is going to be 500-650
Debating on going the DIY route but not to sure on that yet
We already have the photograph picked out because she a close friend who has her own business and offered to do it for free so that’s one last thing to worry about
