Hello ladies.
I need some opinions..
My son is driving me crazy. He spits of juice, water, and liquid out for fun. He doesnt do it always but he does it alot. I'm tried of cleaning up liquid.. his shirts get soaked, floors, toys, blankets. Whatever he is spitting at. I cant trust him with a sippy cup anymore. I've tried everything I can think of. Smacking. Not smacking. Time out. Stern talking.
Does anyone have any idea on what to do? He is 2.

Probably try watching his and when he’s done taking a sip take the cup from and give it to him every few minutes to see if that works. Or if he continues to do that. Dont give him anything to drink unless with meals.
My son use to turn his cup upside down and watch the juice drip out. I did that with him and I barely notice him do it anymore

My daughter went through a spitting phase. When she would do it, I’d take the cup away and tell her she could have it back when she was ready to drink from it correctly. I also only gave water so if she spit it out I didn’t have to worry about it.

Maybe make him sit in the high chair whenever he wants a drink and put a bib on him. Let me know he can get down when he starts drinking the right way
