My son woke up a few times through the night saying “mommy my eye crusty” ..

I go to take him to the potty and notice his eye looks puffy/Swollen and it’s like he smeared something white around it 🤦🏾‍♀️ he has a cold already and has had diarrhea a couple days now. I’m ready to take him to the hospital but before is there any suggestions

He’s still acting normal as ever
