My son on his first day of school yesterday 🥰🥰 He's still in preschool and next year he'll be starting kindergarten hopefully. Only because his birthday is September 16,2015 and they said he has to be 5 before September 1st to start kinder which I think sucks but yeah.

He will have to do transitional kindergarten or another year of preschool. My daughter has an October birthday so she’s going into transitional kindergarten this year. I really think it should be up to the parents to decide but oh well, hopefully it all works out.
Thanks hun yeah that's what his preschool told us yesterday all about transitional kindergarten which I find weird and I agree it should be up to the parents but it's fine they'll learn more and be ahead :)
Yea that’s how my daughter is too. She was born on October and has to do another year of pre school. But it’s like a 6 hour program tho. She will learn more, and it will get her ready for kindergarten.
