Random question but is it normal to randomally start getting a lot of cramps with the mirena iud? I got it inserted in November and never had bad cramping until a few weeks ago.

I had cramping for abit when i got it in but after that i never had any cramping - you should just check it out make sure it’s good

Have you checked your strings? It seems anytime I’ve heard someone say they’re cramping it ends up being that it’s almost falling out
@babybump21, well if you can feel them that’s reassuring. But if it doesn’t sit right with you make an appointment so your ob can check. It’s not menstrual cramping?
@flamingomom, I don’t get my period with my iud so that’s why I found this cramping odd out of no where. I’ll probably just make an appointment to make sure
@babybump21, I hope everything is okay. I got mine 6 weeks pp and haven’t gotten a period but I thought it was because I’m breastfeeding. I hope I don’t get it lol
My anxiety is so bad that I’d go straight to the emergency room. I’m paranoid like that
