Well we both work so yes I want a little help. I work 12hr days on a night shift and he works during the day. If I'm off I don't mind doing more but when I'm working and he wants something clean he has to pitch in. Idc if it's just a few things or he can watch the baby or something. The baby is so clingy I just have a hard time getting things done so if he's home he can help with her. Sometimes I feel he thinks he works so hard and he's too tired. It's like I'm not allowed to be too tired and I work too.

My husband works and I stay home although I am probably starting working again next week — with that said, I usually do all cleaning & take care of the baby. Our parents usually do our laundry (lmfao I know 🤪) cuz we live in an apartment building and have to pay for it. We take turns cooking. His only job is to take out garbage and vacuum and take care of the bunny.

My SO works a 12 hour swing shift and is in school part time but he works atleast 40 hours a week. He's lazy and wont help. He might take out trash or wash dishes once a week but he doesn't do it unless I ask. It sucks but I know he works hard to keep me home with the kids and I get annoyed sometimes but I'm honestly just used to it.

@sistersmainpiece, see even though he pays all bills your still helped with everything see my husband doesn’t work hours like that anymore so i feel he has gotten hella lazy and just knows ima do it because i normally do and im not for the laziness

Me and my husband switch it up with chores sometimes he cleans sometimes I clean or get whatever needs to be done. I've told him from the start neither one of us is better than the other just because he works and I don't or he does this and I don't we're a team and we built a home together so we share the chores

I'm ok with it. My husband does a lot with our kids and I hate the way he cleans anyways. Take out the trash, put your clean laundry away ( that go in the drawers, I hang up everything else) and he will randomly do the dishes. My three boys have chores lol.

If I had my health back 100% I could do the mofo job and mine 🤣🤣 but I have real bad health now. And I expect help if he can sit on his ass I can too especially since I’m sick 24/7 I still work hard around the house and I deserve a break just as much. So I give him household task like he does his own laundry , trash duty and put the kids to bed.

I’m cool with it. The guy I’m pregnant by works 12 hour shifts in the navy. When he was home from deployment we had a system. I cleaned and did laundry and took care of our 4 kids combined. He would help with the kids though and would always put my baby to bed. He paid the bills and worked hard. He didn’t mind cleaning but I wanted to do it since he works so hard. He would help out and go grocery shopping if needed.

I'm not a 1950s housewife. You live in this house, you make messes, you will help clean up if you are trying to live like a pig.
I'm a sahm, but I'm also not a maid. If I start feeling taken advantage of I will speak up.
