My family doctor prescribed me antidepressants which worked great but here the past month hasn’t really been working. I don’t go back until October but I go to my obgyn in the beginning of August. Would he be able to change or fix my medicines? They’re the same facility or does it have to be the doctor who prescribed them?

Okay that’s what I planned to do Monday but wasn’t sure if it was a waste of time if my other doctor could do it

Usually the prescribing doctor would adjust dosage. For my meds I was told I could call in and do a phone consult to get them increased if needed. Or I could come in.

They may need to adjust your dosage. Call in to your doctor's office of who prescribed them and let them know what you're feeling.
