Oliver (3 year old) got in trouble (as he does every night before bed because he’s a turd), and Tommy (my husband) left the boy’s room and started getting ready for work. I came in to check on Oliver and Aarem (8 year old) was crying. I was very confused because why the hell would Aarem be upset that Oliver was in trouble? Anyway, Aarem was upset because he thought Tommy left without giving him a hug and telling him he loved him. 💔 I told Aarem that Tommy was getting ready but I would talk to him. I came back in after talking to Tommy and Aarem legit thought Tommy left without saying I love you to him. I felt so bad. Aarem loves Tommy sooooo much. I had to reassure Aarem that Tommy wouldn’t leave us.

I love that they love each other. Tommy has always been an amazing dad, but it makes me happy knowing Aarem loves him that much.
