I need help with a sleep schedule for my kids it’s 12:22am and they are still awake
It’s super hard to get a kid that’s overtired to go to bed. Start your routine early, bath at 6:30, brush teeth, read a story, bed at 7. My son sleeps 7-7 with no problems, but if for some reason, it’s past 7:30 when he goes to bed, he has a really hard time going to sleep.
I might just have to try but we have a late dinner so my husband can eat with us before he goes to work which just switch so maybe now I can get them in bed sooner idk
They used to cry longer so you just go in their reassure them but just let them cry it out
Their doctor told me there’s nothing wrong with just letting them cry it out and the sooner you do it the better
@rosemom, ya she finally went to bed at 2:30am I’m trying but nothing works
I had this same issue
My kids wake up from 7-8am
I bathe them by 7:30 give them a last bottle by 8:30 read them a book and tell them it’s going to be ok. At 9-9:10 I put them in their crib turn on a toy that lights up the ceiling dimly and they cry for like 10 mins then go to sleep
I put my 2 year old to bed at 8 o’clock every single night. He’s always been a sleeper. He’ll go to bed at 8pm and not wake up until 11am sometimes. I asked the doc if it was normal and she said yep, he’s just growing. — but what i do, i give him dinner and a bath, i let him play with his brother for a bit and then we give mommy and daddy hugs/kisses and we put him in bed. He may talk to himself or fuss for a few minutes but it’s never longer than 5 minutes tbh. Just make sure they’re calm and relaxed and it’ll be easier to get them to bed ☺️ And for my 7 year old, i turn off his tv or make him put his book away around 8:30/9 and then he may be up and down for a bit to go to the bathroom or get water, but he’ll doze by 9:30/10. But during the school year he’s in bed by 8 o’clock also.
