It was quite a few years ago but we were approved for our first apartment within 24 hours and our second was on the spot. However we gave ourselves about a month or two advance. It helps to ask when they’ll have an opening.
When we first moved years ago into our first place together an apartment it took us 6 months months on the waiting list. Best apartment ever tho only moved because my daughter got bigger and we outgrew it of course.
@amandabl18, We just wanted that certain apartment complex because it was the best in town and everything included but electric for $405 a month and our electric ran about $30-50 a month. Lol
I used to and only took few days to get approved. Everything was ready for move in right away.

I don't currently live in an apartment but that was our very first place and it took a few months because we were on a waiting list
Omg 😩 my mil decided last second she wanted to move to Delaware & my bf can’t transfer from his job because he just started a new position & we don’t want to go to Delaware & we gotta by move next month 🙃🙃🙃
@amandabl18 You could look for a duplex, My mom lived in one and all she had to do was fill out an application then wait for the call. I rent a house and I pay $650 we just moved from a *duplex* that was also $650 maybe check into a house?
