Instagram is filled with posed, staged photos. It didn’t always start off this way, but Instagram truly is a stream of beautiful photos. I have to be honest, I don’t mind it. I think it’s fun to look at gorgeous photos of clothing and styles and travel. I try my hardest to post my prettiest and my most fave photos of me and my family. I definitely take the time to think about my photos.

But sometimes, just sometimes someone gets a photo of you (thank you to my husband) of a real life moment. Not posed. Not planned. Not requested. And the photo makes your heart soar because it’s a true moment that is ordinary, but extraordinary for you. My little Miss waiting for her swim race with her arms tight around my waist. Probably one of my fave photos ever.
