Anyone who had pre eclampsia, did you get it again with 2nd (or later) pregnancies?

I read somewhere it's a 25% chance of recurrence and it's more common in girl pregnancies. I dont have the source but so far so good on mine, its is more common for a first and then your body realizes what's up.
I took low dose aspirin during my second pregnancy and did not get it again

Another comment said they took the baby aspirin also.
@carolynclark967, my cnm recommended it. It thins your blood so lowers the chance for high bp
I had pre e with my first, with my second I had gestational high bp and was on medicine but never developed pre e, with my 3rd I’m pregnant with I have gestational high bp. Due to this I can not go over 37-38 weeks and if I don’t deliver before those weeks I will be induced.

I asked bc We want another but I don’t know if I want to go through the hell of pre-e again. I got it around 6.5-7 months & was induced. The internet says if you have it once you won’t necessarily get it again but I wanted real Womens testimonies.

No, I'm on my 3rd and so far things are looking good. They did put me on baby aspirin this time around (but not my second).
That’s great to hear!! Is the baby aspirin for BP? So You only had it with your first then?
@carolynclark967 yes, it's supposed to lower your risk of pre-e. My first was the only one and it was super late, 35ish weeks
I had preeclampsia during my first labor. This second time I took baby aspirin. My BP spiked around 8 months pregnant and weekly scans following that showed I also had polyhydramnios. So we planned an induction because she didn't want me going past 38 weeks. All I got was Cervidil to help me dilate (and it wasn't even placed the full amt of time) and that was enough to send me into labor. BP ended up being completely normal fine during labor, go figure.
