How many of you limit your child’s screentime?
Su-Th: they're allowed a few hours each day on the portable electronics
Fri&Sat: as long as they've done 20 minutes of reading, made they're bed etc they can enjoy as much as they want; it's the weekend.
In our home Tv is on and off about 50/50 I mean we just believe there's a time to watch and a time not to. Its just all about moderation and prioritizing. We allow our girls to be children but through guidance and structure.
🙋. I purposely only charge my daughter's tablet to about 15%. Once it does she's done. She only uses it every other day.
I recently read it can lead to mental health problems and I might be an idiot but I don’t comprehend how? My son almost always has educational videos/songs on the tv but he doesn’t really sit down and watch them just here and there he’ll actually watch. Does it count as screen time if it’s like that?
We usually have educational shows on all day for background noise while we play unless were outside or doing other things outside the house.
🤚🏽! I absolutely don’t let my children have phones or tablets they’re too young. But they do watch tv maybe 2 hrs total daily . Normally they’re in school and by time we get home they play watch a show dinner baths bed .
My daughter will be 3 in November and gets 1 hour of educational, pre approved videos and games on her tablet. She doesn’t sit for TV or movies.
