@mumstasin, you would need a job paying at least $17 an hour in order to afford a low income apartment since the standard rent is around $1500 for regular housing (this is in the Portland, Gresham area) if you move further out it will be cheaper but finding a job will be harder
I work for the school district in LA right now so I’ve been looking into working for the school district out there, but haven’t found anything that gets me near what I get paid here
yeah the school districts in Portland don’t pay as good until you’ve been with them for at least 3 years and even that’s a fight. But don’t get discouraged keep looking something may pop up! If you need any help with finding districts or anything else in Oregon, feel free to contact me 😁

Lived there it just depends on the city you move to. I see you’re in LA so anywhere in Oregon would be much cheaper lol
