Found out my baby is twice the size in length then it should be at 12 weeks. Is that normal?
It’s what I’ve read and it was the same measurements. It’s measuring from the head to the butt. Basically the baby should be the size of a peach but it’s the size of a bell pepper.
@sharp_ashleyk, I wonder if they might move your date around, or was baby measuring normal and then larger this time around? Either way I would call out of curiosity... did you notice? They probably see this all the time and didn’t think to explain.
@amysbabies, my very first was normal, the second was a little bit bigger and this is double of what it should be. And yea probably. I’ll probably bring it up at week 16 and see. Thank you.
Maybe due date is off, or your going to have a tall baby. I wouldn't worry right now if there was something wrong the doctor would have said
Did they tell you that or is that what you read? Be sure you are reading the same measurements- was the ultrasound in centimeters and you are reading averages in inches? Is the measurement baby or the sac? Just a few things to think of.
Ex. 12 weeks average is 2.13 in or 5.4 cm.
