Those of you with an older child and a little one, do you ever feel guilty that you can't always focus on your older child?
Bethany gets home from the childminder around 5pm most days, promptly declaring she's hungry until I have dinner ready for her.
Unfortunately Naomi is super fussy, either screaming or cluster feeding (or both) from 5pm to around 8 or 9pm. By the time she's calmed down, Bethany's asleep.
Last night I was trying to read a bedtime story to Bethany, with hubby walking up and down the hallway holding a screaming Naomi - he later suggested buying formula so he could feed her instead. 2 nights before I cut short reading to Bethany because Naomi was screaming for a feed, so had 2 crying children...
Just feel like I'm always letting Bethany down at the moment 😪
Thanks ladies, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this!
Naomi had a much calmer evening yesterday, she fell asleep on her dad so I was able to spend an hour playing with Bethany & reading to her, I feel better now I've had that time with her.
I feel the same every day! I'm constantly saying give me 2 minutes, Noah also always wants something when I'm feeding her 🤦♀️ x
I felt the exact the same but trust me ladies it gets so much better ! When the babies get a little older and also learn the routine things will slot together sknr worry you all doing great everyone is just adjusting to the new baby still 🙃 xx
