I got induced at 38 weeks because my daughter was only weighing 5 pounds also and I had high fluid levels. Prayers for you and baby and a fast, easy delivery.
@de_michelle28 at 38 weeks. But he made me deliver early because she was in less than 10 percentile while pregnant and wasnt gaining weight. And my fluids were way too high.
@de_michelle28 she is almost 6 months now and still very small for her age. She still wears alot of 3 month clothing.
Don’t stress 5 pounds is a good weight for baby girl . You and baby girl will be fine. Praying for a safe delivery and healthy baby girl.

My daughter was born at 38 weeks 4 lbs 9oz and healthy as ever! No worries mommy. Everything will be fine! 🙏🏾
Well it’s up to the doctors guys what we think is ok may not be ok to the doctors prayers love
@gion.92, yes I didn’t say you were lol I feel the same some babies are born smaller and I feel like she could go full term to but I’m no doctor I hope everything goes well tho 🙏🏼
I was just wondering why they were inducing so early. maybe they saw she wasn't growing anymore or something.
@lifewithlynnieandwill88, yeah I think that’s why because some babies may seem fine at a certain weight but maybe thr baby isn’t growing at a decent rate
I feel like 5 pounds is OK for 37 weeks. some people go full term (40 weeks) & have 5 pound babies. why are they inducing?
At 37 weeks my son was born 6lbs 3oz. My daughter was 36 wks 6days she was 6lbs 8oz. So yes its good size.
They’re saying she’s supposed to be at least 7lbs but I haven’t even started dilating my cervix is still closed

Lol girl I started boohoo crying ! Like they had 3 different people to come do ultrasounds on her ! I know I asked for it but not under these terms
