Ok ladies I need to vent....My ex is out of jail and my kids are leaving Friday to go stay with him and his new girlfriend for 8 days. I am freaking the hell out. I know they're all older and can keep in touch with me but I'm still worried. I also still no nothing about his girlfriend and it's pissing me off. I ask questions but I get vague answers. I just need the next 2 weeks to go super fast. 😢😭

Can you find her on social media? Message her and ask her to go get a coffee or lunch and get to know each other.

They live 10 hours away so grabbing lunch is hard but I did find her on social media but she won't accept any of my request so I can't see anything on her private page.

Yes unfortunately it is court ordered and he was in jail for 5th or consecutive dui and writing bad checks. He did 5 years.

He just did 5 years, and it’s court ordered they go stay with him? How is that right? I wouldn’t allow, and definitely fight it. I don’t see why it wouldn’t start slow with visits and such. I’m sorry, I would be freaking out too!

Ya our visitation schedule from before he went to jail is still in effect. I've tried to fight it but the judge said comply or be in contempt. Plus they're all actually old enough to decide to go or not on their own. So they all want to see their dad so I stand by and silently freak out to my husband and on here so my kids don't see it.

So sorry you’re going thru that mess mama, he sounds like a complete sack of shit. That’s a LOT of DUI’s for someone especially when he’s got children to think about. You’d think the judge would look at THAT and think the same way and tell him he can have supervised visits here and there and IF he stays outta trouble and ending up back in jail or with another DUI, he can start to get more privileges back.

Thank you and I agree he defiently doesn't deserve time with them. My 15 year old actually gets it and sees him for who he is so hopefully the other 3 do soon.
