I had a spinal block with my daughters birth. I didn’t hve horrendous trouble after but I could definitely feel twinges and spasms where they put it in. It wasn’t daily either but a few times a week. It stopped just after I went back to work, so about 10 months after I had her. xx

I have problems with my back too, at first I thought it was my weight but having an epidural and being pregnant have definitely contributed x

It is a very common side effect. They usually reel off all the side effects before doing it. You can always talk to your Dr maybe see about some pain relief. I take amitriptyline as I've got 2 herniated discs in my spine and it stops the muscle spasms and pain.
