I’d love to post a pregnancy announcement and it be just that. But that would be a disservice to my sisters in struggle. If you are the 1 in 8 that faces fertility challenges, YOU ARE NOT ALONE and THERE IS HOPE! Our fertility journey started in September after suffering a pregnancy loss. Our 4th loss (3 before Turtle, 1 after). After so many appointments, blood draws, ultrasounds, HSG, IVF, ICSI, PGS, ERA, FET, and so so many hormones (orally and by injection), and all of the “hurry up and wait” that comes along with fertility treatment... WE ARE HERE, IN THE 2ND TRIMESTER!! Meet the Lizard, due January 2020.
Congrats! That is a beautiful announcement 😍. I was nervous to tell a friend who struggled longer then me to get pregnant ( took me 13yrs) but of-course she was happy for me and of course wanted a baby too. She finally went to my doctor and just had baby number 2. Maybe tell your sister before you send out the announcement. I’m sure she will be happy for you, but want her turn. Has she tried an infertility Doc? Mine was a quick fix of an unbalanced hormone, my friend did IVF and second was naturally. She saw a different doc for years, but didn’t get pregnant until seeing mine. He was highly recommend to me and the biggest blessing. I tracked using the Ovia app too. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy & prayers for your sister to get her baby. God has perfect timing, but sometimes it’s hard to wait or understand if a baby is not in his plans. We thought of adoption.
Thank You for talking about this and sharing your experience because others have or are going though it too
